Meet gregor Baum
Gregor Baum, an international student from Germany, recently graduated with degrees in Business Administration and Leadership from North Carolina Wesleyan University. Initially arriving in the United States on a tennis scholarship, his athletic aspirations were cut short by an injury that led him into depression. However, with the help of his school counselor, Gregor found his way through adversity and discovered a passion for mental health advocacy.
At Wesleyan, Gregor founded the Rotaract Club and now serves as the Rotaract Representative for District 7720. He authored the book The Rotary Mindset, a project that led to the creation of a company, GH Inner Performance, focused on mental health, mindset, and overcoming adversity. Their journal and learning course are currently implemented by North Carolina school districts and taught at the university level.
Gregor is now working towards securing a visa to stay in the United States, which requires public recognition for his contributions. He is actively seeking opportunities for public coverage to share his story of resilience, leadership, and his mission to promote mental well-being.
