Welcome message

A message from District Governor Andy Vanhook

For the first time in our district’s history, the Rotary District 7570 Conference will be held in Harrisonburg, Virginia, my beloved adopted home community. From April 23–26, 2026, Rotarians, leaders, and friends from across our district will gather to connect, collaborate, and celebrate the power of Rotary to create lasting change.

This conference is more than an event. It is a moment to bring our Rotary vision to life and to remember what becomes possible when people of purpose come together with a shared commitment to service.

“Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.”

Harrisonburg embodies that spirit. It is a place built on service, community, and inclusive energy. Showcasing this city and hosting our district here means the world to me. I hope you will join us for a conference experience designed to strengthen friendships, spark fresh ideas, and celebrate the impact of Rotary across District 7570.

Thursday welcome reception

Start the conference early with a special Thursday evening experience.

Rotarians arriving on Thursday, along with local attendees, are invited to a welcome social at Dynamic Aviation in Bridgewater beginning at 5:30 PM. Enjoy light food, snacks, fellowship, and a unique chance to visit a remarkable local aviation partner that is restoring the first Air Force One right here in the Valley.

For those interested, Dynamic Aviation will also offer flights aboard its DC-3, Miss Virginia, for a scenic tour of the Shenandoah Valley, weather permitting.
Downtown dollars

Spend a little Rotary goodwill in downtown Harrisonburg.

Conference fundraising is going so well that registered attendees will receive $20 in Downtown Dollars to enjoy at participating establishments. It is a fun way to thank attendees, support local businesses, and give everyone one more reason to explore the heart of Harrisonburg during the weekend.

Consider this your friendly Rotarian nudge: go enjoy downtown, treat yourself, and spend those Downtown Dollars.
